During the 27th Africa-France Summit, which took place on 13 and 14 January, our teams were on hand for the final of the Digital Africa challenge, which took place on the Agorize platform over the last three months.

This digital transition challenge, supported by the AFD and Bpifrance, attracted no fewer than 463 African and French startups interested in the cause of developing Africa’s digital economy.

This innovation competition revealed 10 French and African startups working to boost the digital transition of major business sectors such as health, agriculture and the environment.

The ten winning startups are : Citizen Doc (France); CityTaps (France); eTumba (France); FarmDrive (Kenya); GiftedMom (Cameroon); Teekeo Technologie (Côte d’Ivoire); Mo’Go (Ghana); OTRAC (Nigeria); Studely (France); Weebi (Senegal)

French President François Hollande gave the winners their prizes at a ceremony attended by Pierre Gattaz, Chairman of Medef, and 70 leaders of major French businesses.
