The 3 co-founders create their startup – Studyka, which brings together students and big groups
Bouygues Construction is the first major company to trust in Studyka
CANAL+ then decides to launch an open innovation challenge and collaborate with students
Studyka wins the Réseau Entreprendre award
The startup joins the incubator LeCamping (now NUMA)
2012
Google and TF1 trust in Studyka and launch their first
open innovation challenge
First employees hired – the startup grows to 5 people
Studyka wins at Scientipôle Initiatives
Move to Télécom ParisTech’s incubator
Three new communities are added alongside students: hackers (Hackateam), startups (UpWeStart) and employees
Google UK and Bank of America are Studyka’s first international clients
2013
The Bouygues Group takes a stake in the startup’s capital through its investment fund Bouygues Initiatives
Studyka wins the BforBank Prix de l’Entrepreneur award
The first large-scale marketing campaign takes place – a print advertising campaign in the Paris metro
2014
Studyka becomes Agorize! The change of name better reflects the diversity of its communities of innovators
Agorize raises €3 million from renowned investors and from the BPI: Publicis, Orange, Bouygues Télécom (Iris Capital, Capnamic Ventures)
The team grows and now has 15 employees
Agorize is awarded the SFR Jeunes Talents Startup prize in the
‘Business Digitalization’ category…
… and also wins the Frenchweb – Microsoft Azure award!
First steps towards international reach as an office opens in San Francisco
2015
Team-building trip to Tenerife in the Canary Islands
Agorize continues to recruit and reaches 40 employees…
… before moving to its own premises in Paris, near the Place de la Bastille
Agorize joins Promo HP Start-up
Then opens offices in Stuttgart to strengthen its presence in Europe
Launch of the first Europe-wide hackathon: Hack4Europe
2016
A new wave of recruitment – 50 people are now part of the Agorize adventure!
Agorize is ranked 215th in the FrenchWeb 500
The Agorize platform is voted ‘Best Collaborative SaaS Platform’ by FrenchTech
